Thanks for the email, Pam, which among other things is a reminder for me to ask what other issues people would like to discuss on Thursday. I'll add this to the list. Other topics for discussion?

Subject: [ROW] TH Mtg: Peacock issue?
For the meeting on TH, I think the Comcast Peacock ad revenues franchise fee (Not!) issue is on the agenda?
We are in Comcast franchise renewal sessions starting this month. I don't plan to raise this with Comcast, yet, but I saw this media item and it brought home just how blurred the lines are --- Comcast is deemed to be raking in the ad revenues from Peacock and we know they are not paying a franchise fee on the ad revenues .....yet it is Comcast the cable company interjecting themselves into that business by controlling price discounts and other Peacock benefits for their own cable subscribers ---- an UNLIKE situation to Netflix and Hulu, etc.
I hope we continue to watch this play out across the US to see what approach is applicable to us here, if any. As we work on renewal details it would be nice to ensure we have the correct text to keep the franchise fee door open on this issue.
