Reba,
We haven’t had any get that far.  In a few places the companies began to push back and when the municipality offered to have them come in and review with staff how the fees were determined, they backed off.  We have a state law requirement in Colorado that all fees be an accurate reflection of actual costs, and all permit fees (not just on wireless) are updated annually – so the staffs are generally knowledgeable and comfortable having these discussions.

Nancy, thanks for sending out the reminder.

I would like to know if anyone has or is having the following issue - I had a national SWF provider state that they will not pay more than the safe harbor annual fee unless the municipality provides a fee justification or cost study.  Also, of course, they disagree with the justification amounts.
